The survey results Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) called the trend of public satisfaction with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) tended to decrease, from 85 percent in July 2009 to 62 percent in October 2010. Democrats remain optimistic ahead of 2014.

"We still continue to believe that the community will determine the best option," said Sharif Hassan, member of the Board of Trustees of the Democratic Party, at the Presidential Office, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 6, 2010.

Sharif asserted that Democrats have not thought about the presidential election of 2014. The focus today, said Sharif, how to think for the government program run well.

Sharif assess the results of a survey the rise and fall is considered the norm. But the government still will work optimally.

"Who are the party of their choice, of course because there is a positive response from the community," said the politician who is also State Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises this.

Sharif suspect, one of the causes of decline in the popularity of Yudhoyono is to leave the issues that actually performed together. Not solely because SBY himself.

"Get off because there are a lot of issues, issues that need to be addressed together. Perhaps there is climate change which affect Indonesia's economy," said the politician who is also Secretary of the Joint Secretariat of this.
